Give him time and he will warm up and want to be loved and petted.Astro enjoys dog play and prefers small dogs. Choose his playmates carefully and give Astro plenty of time and space to get to know them. He would likely enjoy living with another like-minded small dog who can help him learn to trust. Because he is hand-shy and somewhat noise sensitive he will do best in a calm household with children over the age of 16.Once Astro becomes comfortable with you he will benefit greatly from training classes.
