He is being fostered in Lancaster PA. Brawny was rescued from a farm where they routinely trap the cats and dump them far away. They refuse to feed the cats real cat food even when we offer them free donations. Instead they will only feed the cats scraps including cereal vegetables and various meal leftovers. None of it is fit for kitties to be eating He had a large gash on his right rear foot that needed stitches. The wound was very deep right down to the bone. It is healing nicely but the hair may not grew back completely. This dude is very handsome and sweet. He is shy and won t ever be the life of the party but he sure loves having his head scratched He is calm and likes to lay near you. He is still learning what it means to have toys to play with and good food to eat. We are glad we found this boy when we did or the wound on his foot would have gotten infected in no time. Brawny is still learning that being picked up doesn t mean anything bad is going to happen to him. He loves to be petted and rubs all over your feet until you pet him. He is a talker and will meow at you for your attention Brawny has been doing great in his foster home. He uses his litterbox stays off counters and likes his foster kitty siblings. He is getting used to dogs. He would do best in a quiet home where he can bond with 1 or 2 people with at least one kitty companion.
