As this sweet girls foster mom it s hard to put into words how wonderful Viveca is and how deeply she is loved in our home. She needs her forever home with a family who will love her as much as she will love them. She may be tiny but the love and affection she shows are on epic proportions. She is a gentle spirited Chiweenie with an endearing spirit. There is nothing she enjoys more than curling up on your lap... Tummy... Neck or whatever spot she can find to be as close to you as possible. She s the epitome of a lap pup and does that job well. She also enjoys playing with her toys chewing on her nylabones and her favorite thing to do is pal around and play with her foster siblings. She really thrives in their company. So a home with other small dog(s) would be ideal. She is not comfortable around bigger dogs or cats. She is fearful of them but if it s a chill cat they may make friends over time. She is potty trained to puppy pads or outside. Viveca or as we call her Viv or Vivvy is most comfortable sleeping with you but she will deal with snuggling with her k-9 siblings if she must. Everyone that meets this tiny angel adores her and I know you will too if you give her a chance to warm up. She can be nervous at first. In a home environment her true colors show and you ll wonder how you ever lived life without her. Viveca is a Female Dachshund Chihuahua Mix that we estimate to be born around December 25 2015. PUPPIES Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved a meeting can be arranged. Also we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs however the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. SPAY NEUTER As we believe proper healthcare of one s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
