Piper is a 3 4 year old terrier mix. Our best guess is Rat Terrier Jack Russell mix. Piper is a sweet soul looking for a loving gentle home. She was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter her owner never came for her. Shelter life was very scary for her and she was not doing well there. She is so much better now in her foster home and is learning that people can be kind and that they won t hurt her. Piper gives hugs and kisses and always wants to be where her people are but needs a calm and patient environment. Unsure of other dogs at first but does fine with proper introductions and time to get used to them. She would do ok with cats that are used to dogs. A home without small children would be best.To help Piper get acclimated to her new home the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue s trainer.
