Meet Cherry Blossom a charming and beautiful 7 month old Australian Shepherd mix girl that has quite the fairy tale story. She was unfortunately trapped in one of the smallest and dirtiest small town shelters in Tennessee recently with little or no hope and to be euthanized in a few days. Since the shelter adopts only a handful of dogs in a month s time that are brought in the death toll at the shelter is just a tragedy to even think about. We saw this girl leaning in a corner and realized she was young and scared and had much love to give a family. We took her home and she was just so frightened and shut down that we wondered how long it would take to rehabilitate her damaged spirit. Well now we know that once this little girl warms up to you watch out She just loves loves the attention of people. We named her Cherry Blossom because overnight she just blossomed into a total love. She is so pretty and cute. The reason we think she has Aussie in her is because her fur is soft and a short medium length. It begs to be petted and stroked. Cherry Blossom gets along great with her playmates. She is OK on leash but hey .we haven t had her but a week and my-oh-my the strides she has made already. She is just so loveable and her foster mom says that Cherry Blossom would sit quietly and contentedly beside you all day as long as you pet and give her attention.
