JESSIE - Female Shih Tzu

Hi my name is Jessie. I am a super sweet 7 year old black and white female shih tzu who weighs 14 lbs. I am a wonderful loving and very friendly little lady. I have been through a lot lately but am now in a wonderful foster home where I am resting and relaxing in a loving place. I have not had much of that. I was found as a totally matted stray and taken to a local shelter. Miss Jessica rescued me and asked Critter Cavalry to help. Hence my name I am a tad shy at first but that is to be expected. Once I know you are nice I am all about you. I am very inquisitive and like to explore my surroundings. I love to sniff and smell everything. But when it is time to relax I am all about the nearest doggie bed or chair and I curl up and go right to sleep. I ride great in the car and am up for a road trip. I also walk well on a leash and will do my business quickly and then I am ready to go back in. I am house broken and do OK in a crate but I prefer to be beside you. I do have dry eye and will need medicine for that for the rest of my life but apart from that I am in perfect health. I have been spayed and am current on all my shots and microchipped.
