Chewy is an approx 2 yr old (est DOB 08 30 2014) male Newfoundland weighing in at 94.8 lbs and still has some growing to do. Rescued from a small rural shelter in Oklahoma Chewy will be arriving in WI July 31st. He is dog kid cat friendly and fostered with dogs of all sizes a toddler and cats. True to his breed Chewy is docile yet strong and loyal. He is in need of a crash course in leash manners as he is strong on the leash. He has recently made some improvements but isn t quite there yet. Chewy was very matted upon arrival at the shelter in Oklahoma so he was shaved down into a lion cut by his foster family. We wouldn t recommend keeping him shaved as he has a double coat- so shaving him isn t ideal. We will update Chewy s photos and bio as we learn more about him. Chewy s adoption fee of 350 tax includes neuter rabies distemper bordetella vaccine microchip dewormed heartworm negative and on preventative and health certificate from veterinarian.
