Charlie - Female Retriever (Unknown Type) Mix

I m Charlie. I was saved by Scout s Honor Rescue and some other good people who had been feeding me and my friend after we were dumped in a park by some not so nice people. Unfortunately my little friend has disappeared and no one can find her. I m very upset about that but thankful I am safe (they promised they would keep looking for her). I m a petite little girl only about 40lbs or so. I haven t had the easiest life but I know it will be ok now. My ears are little bitty due to an injury of some kind that I have blocked out of my mind. And my eyes are dry so the nice people have started me on some drops and wow that feels good. So I went to see an eye specialist and he said I have Entropian and have to have surgery That s scary but I know I will feel 100% better when my eye lashes that are turned inwards don t rub my eyeballs anymore. People haven t always been nice to me so I take a little bit of time to warm up and be comfortable but once I trust you I just melt. I m also a spunky little girl if you just give me a chance I m safe boarding now but I d really love to be in a home on a soft bed where I can be loved on. I am currently heartworm positive (not contagious) and am undergoing slow-kill treatment. But please don t let that keep you from meeting me.
