Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed neutered shots current (DHPP Bordetella and Rabies where applicable) dewormed flea and tick treated and microchipped. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. We do not ship our dogs for any reason. Our adoption fee is 400 for each dog puppy. However we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.The Powerpuff girls are 3 month old flat-coated retriever puppies who we rescued from a shelter. They are your quintessential adorable goofy large breed puppies.Here is the report from their foster mom The Powerpuff girls are doing great and have adjusted very easily to their new environment. The girls are typical puppies going 100 miles per hour then plopping for a much-needed nap followed by food activity and nap. They are all happy to cuddle and be independent at the same time exploring the world with their mouths. At their age they like to chew and are easily redirected to an appropriate chew toy. Each girl has her own personality so far we ve observed Buttercup seems to be the most outgoing as she was first out of the crate when they arrived and she was the first to enter the swimming pool . Buttercup is a real love and sometimes takes toys right out of her sisters possession.Blossom was reluctant to the leave the crate upon arrival but has escaped their nighttime bed two nights out of two. We think Blossom might need a doggie Mensa membership. She starts some very interesting conversations with her sisters and seems to have very strong opinions. Bubbles on the other hand seems to be the most likely to go with the flow - lapping up attention when given but not needing to be in the spotlight. She s currently the most mouthy and happily chews appropriate items most of the day.The Powerpuff girls are only an option for families that have had a dog in the last 5 years. Good applicants must demonstrate a solid puppy training plan. They are an option for a home with or without another dog and are an option for a home with cats. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 8.
