I was a back yard breeder dog. I was so matted that everyone thought I was a girl until I was shaved Living in a back yard with no care can be brutal and I am living proof of that Besides being a matted mess I was heart worm positive and have a leg that was broken dislocated and not fixed at the time. My foster Mom can explain all the particulars but here is an overview the orthopedic surgeon didn t give a very optomistic prognosis as far as surgery on my leg. I then visited another vet who examined me and took me into his home for a few days and observed my activity. In his opinion I would do best without surgery. My good front leg is a little deformed due to trying to compensate for my broken leg and my hip joints are a little loose. He thinks I am a happy pain free dog and that any type of surgery could cause other problems and possibly cause future pain in other joints as I adjust after surgery. My foster Mom agrees after observing me run and play for a few months. I have completed my heartworm treatment and will be attending adoption events at Petsmart. Did I mention that everyone who meets me falls in love with me both humans and other dogs. Don t let my disabilities put you off as I am just the best most loving dog you will ever meet My ideal family would have another little dog for me to run and play with and maybe some kids over 12 and a Mommy and Daddy who are home a lot. Those bad people in my first home may have broken my body but not my sweet spirit.
