Libby (2 years old) is a Domestic Short Hair Cat. Hi there my name is Libby Sadly this is my second time here. I originally arrived here in February of 2016 as a transfer from the Currituck SPCA in North Carolina. I was one of their favorite cats and came highly recommended I was quickly adopted but have since come back to the shelter due to some behavior that my family was not willing to deal with. You see I was scratching on some items in the home that my family did not want me to scratch on. I use scratching posts with no issues and I lean towards being a vertical scratcher so my next family will need to ensure that they provide me with multiple scratching posts in high-traffic areas in the home to satisfy this natural feline behavior. Sisal rope scratching posts are particularly good In addition to this you could also try getting the rubber nail caps for me. These are called Soft Paws and can be purchased at any pet store. My previous family described me as friendly attention demanding smart and affectionate.
