BoulderHi I m Boulder I came to the Weber County Animal Shelter as a stray on 07 01 16 and am now ready to be adopted I am a 3-year-old neutered male tricolor Australian Cattle Dog and weigh 60 pounds. If you re looking for the ultimate fetching dog that s me I LOVE it If you throw a ball straight up in the air I ll jump and catch it with my mouth like a baseball player catches a fly ball I would probably like to catch a Frisbee and be one of those dogs you see sailing in the air for it I am a very smart boy and can learn new things in a jiffy.I d be an excellent dog for any active person or family with children over the age of 8 because it is in my nature to herd and I may nip smaller children at their heels trying to keep them together. It would also be best that I have at least a medium sized fully fenced yard so I can get some exercise and keep from getting bored. (Bored dogs are usually naughty dogs ) I will need a walk or some other form of exercise for 20-30 minutes a day minimum. Cattle dogs like to stay busy and I m certainly no exception I need to be the only pet in the home because I like to be the top dog.
