Woof My name is Duchess I am a little 3 year old chihuahua mix. I am a sweet little girl but I can be a little nervous at first so just give me some time to warm up please. I have good social skills once I get used to my surroundings and new places. I really like it here at the shelter because they take really good care of me but I am ready to find my forever home HOW DID I COME INTO HHHS I came to the shelter with a very nice animal control officer on July 8th. HEIGHT 9 WEIGHT 7.6 lbs.HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED Regular exercise will keep my little body happy and healthy. I would enjoy a short walk or some play time out in the yard. Kennel time can be comforting if you make it a good experience for me give me my favorite toy and some treats and I will mostly sleep while you are gone.AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG I would love to live inside with my family so I can spend a lot of time with them I would love to cuddle up to you and watch movies and maybe even take a nap DO I LIKE CATS Since being here at the shelter I have not had a chance to be around any cats. If you have cats at home just ask an Adoption Counselor to do a cat test with me please. I am sure it won t be a problem but it is a good idea just to make sure we are the perfect fit DO I LIKE CHILDREN I haven t had the chance to hang out with any kids yet. If you have little ones at home just please bring the whole family in to meet with me at the shelter.DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS I have not interacted with any other pups here at the shelter yet so I am unsure.
