Ida - Female Miniature Schnauzer Mix

Ida (or Ida Mae to her foster family) is a pure-bread schnauzer who is a breeder release. She gets along with other dogs and enjoys a good game of chase and play out in the yard. She s shy and skittish and needs and owner with understanding and patience to get her used to her new surroundings. Once she warms up she ll wag her tail and smile and show you just how sweet she really is. She likes to sit on the couch with you while you scratch her head and ears. If you stop too soon she ll let you know and pull your hand back over with her paw so you can keep loving on her. Ida Mae is is mostly potty trained. She s learning to walk on a leash but will require a fenced in yard because she can be a little stubborn about who she ll go with while on a leash (we think this bit of stubbornness is a schnauzer thing).
