My name is Charro. I am a very handsome red n white 10 month old cocker boy with a natural tail. I came here to rescue with my companion Crystal she is also 10 months old and you can read her bio. Our owners house got burned down and we were picked up by NC animal control. At the shelter we honestly thought that they would come back to claim us. Six weeks later and still no one showed up. We were sad happy to have each other but wondering why they never came back for us. CCR was contacted to take us so that we would be taken care of updated on our vet needs and find a new forever home.I am heartworm negative and I am now neutered groomed and I ve had a minor dental cleaning. I am a nice boy just scared and uncertain when getting into a car and I am hesitant and uncomfortable in the house. It seems that we must have spent a lot of time left outside to play as we both came here really dirty and matted. I will need your help with my socialization skills house training. I will do best with your TLC and patience to learn the things that I need to know to be a good companion and house doggie. Please give me a 2nd chance to be a wonderful companion for you to love and spend quality time with...........maybe I could learn to be your walking pal to get my exercise.
