Missy is a nine-year-old Golden Retriever who sadly spent all her life as a puppy breeder in a commercial facility living in a kennel run outside. After years of quiet suffering she is now learning to enjoy the Golden Life in a loving RAGOM foster home. Despite her fears Missy is a resilient girl who is increasingly showing her courageous side by following the lead of other dogs. She now enjoys playing with other dogs and will seek out chin scratches from her people. Missy will need to go to a home with a fenced yard a medium to large confident dog and no small children. We would prefer adopters who have prior experience working with emotionally traumatized dogs. Missy is being fostered in NE Minnesota and her adoption fee is 145.
