We don t know how he ended up outside or how long he was homeless but he was hungry enough to get caught in a feral trap. He was taken to a small town animal shelter that euthanizes after 3 days. But he was lucky he was so affectionate that the staff just knew he was somebody s lost pet and they extended his time from April to mid-June while they searched. Roland was lucky again Austin Siamese Rescue heard about him and a foster volunteered to take him. But Roland s luck ran out. He tested positive for feline leukemia. He could have a long and happy life and the virus might go into remission but he should be an only cat or with other FeLV cats. He s living in a workshop very depressed. He stopped eating drinking and interacting but tests showed that he was perfectly healthy. He needs to get out of the workshop where people just visit him and into the family he wants so much. He runs up to his visitors and cries and nuzzles their hand. He ll eat and drink if someone is with him. Can he be lucky just one more time long enough to find a super foster or permanent home 13 July UPDATE Cancel all that isolation stuff because Roland is WELL. He had the definitive leukemia test (IFA) and he does NOT have the disease. He can be with other cats (and he d really like to be). So let s get this boy the home he totally deserves
