You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Amber is a very sweet 2 year old Shih Tzu. Her coat is currently cut short because when she was found by an animal control officer her coat was long and very matted. She was very uncomfortable so the first day that she arrived at the animal shelter she was clipped very short. Underneath all that mess she was found to be very thin. We now have her in our rescue. She is truly enjoying her food and has been filling out really nicely. Her coat is beginning to grow back too She will need regular grooming appointments to keep her coat neat and tidy as well as brushing daily should you wish to keep her coat long once grown out. Amber does wonderful with other dogs. All 3 of her pals have puppy energy. Although she could care less about playing she does very well with them. She met the cat in her foster home and was completely fine with him. Amber loves spending as much time as she can in her foster mom s lap. She will be very happy just to be a homebody as she will enjoy daily walks. She won t run any marathons but definitely is agile enough for light exercise everyday.
