Meet Ricky I m 1 yr-old (approximately) black lab mix. I weight about 35 40 pounds but have all the great qualities you love in a big lab. I m currently being fostered by a family with 3 other dogs (which I love and respect dearly) and their 4 kids. The kids have been teaching me fetch and a few tricks. Funny thing is I already know more than they do I know sit and stay am friendly with food and easy to walk. I am so smart and such a quick learner even if I just learned a new trick they would never know. I would probably do best with a person or family that has trained dogs before or is willing to go to obedience class with me - together we would make a great team You teach me the commands and I obey them - I just want to please. Back to my habits.. I sleep with my sibling dogs and have no accidents in the house. Play play play sleep sleep sleep- that s what makes me the happiest. I love to sleep in the kitchen while you cook or on the floor when everyone is together. I ll even find a quiet nook where I can chill by myself - every one needs a break sometimes. When the family leaves I head off to my crate without barking. Actually I don t really bark much if at all. I have an appointment to be neutered in late Aug.
