Reina - Female Domestic Shorthair Mix

REINA is a gorgeous fluffy 3-year-old brown tabby female kitty with orange highlights (sometimes called a tabby tortie or Torbie) and white fur in a tuxedo pattern. She was rescued from Coos Bay where she was living in a shed after being repeatedly kicked by her owner who didn t want her. After bringing her to Eugene we discovered that Reina was pregnant and she gave birth to her babies in a loving WCDC foster home. Once the babies were all adopted out and Reina was spayed she was moved to another foster home since she was a very scared cat from all of the abuse she had endured. She is trusting humans more and more each day hiding less and enjoying hanging out in high places such as her cat tree. She loves to have her chin and the back of her head scratched and enjoys being brushed. She will sit for hours on your lap while you type on the computer or watch TV. When her foster mom picks her up from the cat tree Reina will wrap her paws around her neck and hug her. It is very easy to trim her nails and her fur is soft like a bunny s. When she is feeling safe she will purr to show her affection. She is good with her litterbox and scratching post. She might be OK with other non-dominant cats but it is unknown if she could adjust to a dog. Reina is afraid of loud noises and will need a quiet home with loving adults who understand that she has had a hard life and who will allow her the time to bond with her new family. She is being offered on a shy cat special of 60 sponsored by Main St Mini Storage. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative) spayed microchipped vaccinated defleaed and dewormed plus you get a free vet visit.
