As you can tell by these pictures Mia and Lars are the best of friends These 2 kitties from different backgrounds have become best friends while waiting on their forever families. Lars was on death row at our local Animal Control. He was surrendered with 3 other white cats. They all got adopted and he was left behind. Lars can be a bit timid we believe that he must have had minimal human contact before arriving in his foster mom s home. But don t let that deter you After a few days of observing how live worked inside a house Lars quickly adapted. He learned that it is okay to hang out on the couch with your person and get some we deserved pets. Lars is very gentle and soon became the resident baby sitter . He will lay in front of the kitten kennel door until it is time for them to come out for play time. That s how he met Mia. Mia and her 2 sisters were born in a garage to their stray mother. Luckily the home owner is an animal lover and decided that they would like to keep the mama for themselves. When we were approached about helping with the kittens we could not say no Once the kittens were weaned their mama was spayed and stayed at her new home while her kittens came into our foster mom s home. Mia loves to play but also has her laid back moments. She is pretty vocal and will let you know when she needs attention She will let you hold her for a few moments but prefers to have her feet on the ground most of the time. Mia and Lars have always favored one another but now that both of Mia s sisters have been adopted she and Lars spend more time together. Hanging in the window sill watching birds and squirrels sharing a food bowl playing and taking naps. Mia is currently 5 months old and Lars is approximately 1 year old. They have both been spayed neutered and are up to date on their vaccinations (Fvrcp Feline Leukemia and Rabies). Mia and Lars have both tested negative for Feline Leukemia and receive a monthly topical flea preventative. The adoption fee for this bonded pair is 350.00.
