Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment Therru will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention exercise training and affection she deserves. Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy we nor our vets cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be. Health Therru has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP Bordetella and will need her Rabies at 4 months. She has been wormed and flea treated. History Therru comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates as required by Washington state. Notes from Therru s Foster Home Therru is a little Pom mix puppy with a whole lot of puppy energy and a very high activity level. We are teaching her to self-soothe when left alone. We re guessing she s taught many people to pick her up and carry her around by barking and carrying on. We re making progress. When putting her in her crate she will cry for a while but then settles down. She is also comfortable just walking into her crate on her own. When it comes to house training she does have access to a doggy door so she is getting the idea to go outside when needed. We re combining this with routine and she s learning that outside is where to potty. We are also working with her on her play bite by teaching her that it s not appropriate to put puppy teeth on humans as we don t want her to do so when she s an adult. When being around people she is a very playful girl and will play ball with you. Once outside she runs around for about 5-10 min straight before she wants to play with you or the other dogs. She has not been around cats but I think she would be good. Therru would most likely try to play with them but would respond if the cat tells her to back off as that s what we ve seen her do with the other dogs. Note The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog s foster home.
