House trainied Working on crate training Okay with other dogs not sure about cats Dog respectful children 8 and older Adoption fee 315 All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.Health Polly has been spayed microchipped and received a dental. She is current on her DHPP Bordetella and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated and tested negative for heartworm. Polly has a grade 2 luxating patella. She may have arthritis down the road. Surgery is not needed. She has left side facial nerve paralysis. This may have been caused by trauma or the foxtails found in the left side of the mouth. This may or may not improve. It can take 6 months for nerves to come back from injury. If this doesn t improve her new family may need to lubricate the left eye as it doesn t close all of the way with the paralysis. History Polly comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates as required by Washington state. Notes from Polly s Foster Home This little missy is a really happy easy going pup. After she was rescued a vet removed nests of foxtails from both ears and her lower left lip. Something has caused partial paralysis to the left side of her face. This hasn t slowed her down one bit and it is hardly noticeable. Her new pink bow replaces the bedraggled purple one that she brought with her from her past life. We believe she is about 8 years old and she is 8.5 pounds. She loves to cuddle and learn new tricks Note The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog s foster home.
