Female Terrier mix Approximately 1 year old Approximately 19.2 lbs. House trained on a schedule Working on crate training Okay with other dogs okay with cats Dog respectful children 8 and older Adoption fee 485 All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.Health Rhinna has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP Bordetella and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated and tested negative for heartworm. History Rhinna comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates as required by Washington state. Notes from Rhinna s Foster Home Rhinna is a sweet gentle young dog. She is initially shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. She loves to be with her people she will lay at your feet and watch what you re doing always within sight. She has learned to sit and is motivated by treats and praise. She is good with our cat curious but doesn t chase especially if you redirect her. She is not very interested in other dogs. She loves to chew dog toys chews and has not touched any of the shoes or other human things laying around. She likes to go for walks doesn t pull and will stay close. If given a lap to lay on or time on the couch she will be your best bud Setting boundaries with the cuddling has helped her have more confidence. We are working on crate training she cries a little at first and sometimes cries if you leave the room but settles down within a few minutes and this is improving daily. Rhinna has experienced many things for the first time with us like meeting people who want to pet her and riding in the car. These things still make her a bit uneasy but she is affectionate with the people she knows and is learning to adapt to new situations. She is ready to find her person people that will take her on adventures and give her confidence in her new life She seems low energy but would benefit from regular daily exercise to help her continue to gain confidence. I think she d make a great partner for long walks short runs as she is in great shape. Note The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog s foster home.
