Tessa& 39 s the best She is a 1-year-old kitty who is curious and playful once she opens up to you. With the right acclimation period she could be a great addition to almost any home. Tessa will likely need her space but would be equally happy to sit next to you on the couch. She has been diagnosed with feline leukemia or FeLV which is a serious viral disease. Tessa will likely have the shortened life-span and disease progression that is typical of permanent FeLV infection. The cats that live in our FeLV adoptable colony have all undergone an initial screening test to diagnose this condition and they have had a second round of testing--an immunofluorescence assay--to determine if they are permanently infected with FeLV. We believe FeLV cats like Tessa can make loving companions and deserve a chance at a happy life.... More Info
