Hi there my name is Lucy. I am a 1 year old Spaniel mix. I was found at a high kill shelter because I was brought in as a stray. I don t know why I was stray. Nobody knows. Just some nice Rescuer saw my sad face in the shelter and they saved me. But I m not sad anymore Now I am in a foster home where I don t have to be in a cage but in a really nice home. There s another dog that I can play with and he s teaching me how to be a City dog. See before I was a Country dog. I am learning so many things in my foster home. I am learning about new sounds sights plus all the new things dogs have to learn like my basic commands and oh that tough one potty training. But I am getting the hang of that one because I really like it when my foster Dad praises me. I see the disappointment in his face when I have an accident so I try really hard to not disappointment foster because Daddy he loves me so much for saving me. I love it when we go for our walks. I walk really well on my leash. I like it when people stop to pet me and say what a pretty girl. I like it when I get to hop on furniture and be next to people. That s when I share all my kisses and boy do I like to give kisses. I like it most when I when I am on my foster Dad s lap. I feel so loved & safe. I know I have so much to learn but if you give me time patience and structure just like I am getting now I will learn I will be the best girl ever. I can live anywhere the City (where I am living now) the Suburbs or the Country.
