Meet two of our favorite babies Finley (tan & white) and Avery (black white tan). They each weigh only 3.5 lb (they came in only weighing 2.6). Both have had full dentals. They are about 8 years young are fully vaccinated and heartworm-negative. These two are completely bonded. If you take Avery away from Finley he cries and cries this mournful terrible whine. They are in love and need to stay together. Really together they are only 7 lbs they will not take up much space. ) Finley was neutered when he got his dental. However Avery was not doing well under anesthesia and the doctor had to wake her up. She is not spayed. Her teeth were black and rotten so the decision was made to do the dental but when she started getting too cold he pulled her up not having enough time to spay. Our vet does not think it is a good idea to put her under again. We will be very picky about where these two babies go. They have been through a lot and all they had was each other. It took Finley and Avery a while to come out of their shells but they certainly did. Their foster mom Patricia has done a wonderful job. If I did not already have a herd of my own I would adopt these two in an instant. They do not have a aggressive bone in their body. They do not growl or nip. They may run and hide in their kennel when scared but that is it. Finley and Avery like to snuggle and always sleep with one another. They still play a bit and are very well-behaved and well-mannered dogs. You really couldn t ask for a better pair.
