Meet Charley. This pretty girl (yes girl) is a mixed breed sweetie pie. It depends on the angle lighting and how many hours of beauty rest she has had which breed seems to stick out most. When we poll people boxer and lab seem to be repeated quite a bit. German shepherd and some kind of hound has also been thrown in to spice things up. We don t know what she is and frankly we don t care. She will be 2 years old in December weighs about 60 pounds and is virtually perfect in our eyes.Charley is an energetic playful girl who does great with other dogs. she kind of ignores little dogs and loves to play with buddies her own size. She is also great with kids. She has a thing for boys but will happily hang out with anyone who will give her attention. We do not know how Charley does with cats.Charley is very friendly with people. She has great house manners and knows how to sit on command. She will need work with learning other commands. Right now she is working on leash training with a Martingale collar and it seems to be going well. She does pull some when she is excited. Charley rides really well in the car and is excited to go on an adventure.Charley is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can hang out while we get her brought up to date on vetting. When it s all said an done she will be spayed have up-to-date vaccinations be microchipped and be heartworm tested. We have an appointment ready for her on September 6 to get that all taken care of.
