I am Kiwi and I am a sweet 9-pound Pomeranian. I am 3 years young and new to rescue. I am a shy and calm boy and learning what it is like to live life in a home. There are so many noises and activities happening inside the house it s a lot to adjust to but I am sure I will adapt and be such a happy boy. Cuddling and being held is something I very much enjoy and makes my heart so happy. I could melt in your arms all day long. Playing with other dogs is so much fun and they are such good teachers. They help me learn I am safe and how to act like a dog I will need one in my furever home preferably one around my size. I hope that s okay I am learning how to potty outside and doing well. And crates yuck I am not a fan of crates. I only go in one when I eat meals. Oh I almost forgot to tell you that I do well with older children As you can see in my photos I have very little fur and don t look much like a Pomeranian right now. I will need healthy food to aid in the regrowth of my fur. Maybe that is something you could help me with I would really love that. My foster mom says I will come of my shell soon and be an amazing companion. If you are looking for a calm little gentleman who simply wants to have a dog sibling and a soft bed to sleep in every night I am your guy Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. In turn most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog and do not currently have a dog residing with you please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs. ADOPTION EVENTS Please understand that all of our pets are in foster homes and sometimes life happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. FOSTER CARE All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal s behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves.
