Selkie - Female Domestic Shorthair

Selkie is a sweet petite little lady who was born in May of 2016. She loves to play snuggle and play some more She is a brown tabby with little white mitts and socks-- very chic She loves to play with her foster sister and frequently chases the bigger kitties around like the fierce little bear she is.Selkie is very adaptable to new situations surroundings and people. Although she doesn t know she is different Selkie was born with skeletal and muscular abnormalities that cause her a lack of function and feeling in her back legs. She will not be able to gain control over her back legs but she gets around just fine without them Selkie scoots around like a little seal on her front paws. When she gets older she ll be a great candidate for a wheeled cart. Her deformities mean she is incontinent so she needs to be expressed or stimulated to pee at least twice a day and watched for UTIs and other urinary problems. She is pretty good about being stimulated and she currently does not need to be stimulated to defecate. When Selkie is out and about she wears a diaper. Selkie would do very well in a home with other kitties as long as they are not too aggressive. She hasn t met a dog yet but she seems to be good with older children. She would love to have a stay-at-home parent or someone who is home often so she can have plenty of supervised play time. Most of all Selkie needs a person who loves her exactly as she is.
