We have another special plea and need a foster home right away We received a call this afternoon from the microchip company that we use saying that someone had found one of our dogs. We immediately contacted the Good Samaritan and learned that Mia a dog we adopted over 6 years ago had been found Not only had she been found she had to be trapped after the people had tried to get her for over a month while she was living in the woods near their home. We are obviously extr emely upset and to make matters worse when she was adopted she was adopted with her brother Max who was not with her in the woods. We are still in the process of trying to figure out what in the world happened but as you can imagine she is in rough shape after living in the woods for over a month fending for herself. Mia is a sweetheart. She is 9 to 10 years old now. Before we adopted her she was wonderful with other dogs and we have no reason to believe that that has changed. She is spending the weekend at our emergency vet to be checked out and get some groceries in her. We would really love to get her straight into a foster home as she has been through so much and we would hate to have to board her. Please contact us right away at -X(at)----- if you can help
