Please take the time to read the entire profile. We spend alot of time putting as much info in them as possible. Thank you in advance.Nulipi-Nulipi is a darling young Dogo girl. She is a stunning girl with natural tail and docked ears. She is a stunning girl and gets noticed where ever she goes. She was emaciated when she came to us and had just weaned puppies when turned into the rescue. The breeders posted the puppies for sale the same day that they surrendered her She is all white with the trademark black nose and eyeliner. She is really filling out to be a stunning dog and even have a chunky butt now She is a great girl who has had a rough start in life. She just needs a home where she can feel safe and well loved. She is a great girl she is amazing. Nulipi came to us from her owner. They had purchased her from a breeder over seas. They brought her here to use in their breeding program. Because the dogs were living outside in kennels and used mainly for breeding she developed some habits that they did not work with. She was kennel stressed and the environment was not good for her and she was never able to be a pet but instead was breeding stock when she was not usable as a breeder they had no use for her and choose to find her a new home. When she came to us it took a little while to get a good feel for her personality she was extremely scared sick and recovering from just having babies. She was extremely under muscled and under weight. She had many infections and was just miserable. She deserves a great home and has been spayed so no more babies for her She had so much to learn and had never been a house pet before. She now loves her dog bed and her couch. But she needs a home that understands her needs. Nulipi is a great girl. She just needs a home that understands the dogo breed. She is a bit aloof with new dogs and can be fence defensive. This can come from many things most often it is seen in dogs who are kenneled to much. She is good with dogs once she is introduced but needs to be in a home with dogs of similar size and non fearful temperment. She has done ok with the cats but has never been unsupervised with them. She has done well with kids but due to her fence issues we suggest no home with kids under 10. She is a great girl who just needs to know the world is not a scary place we highly suggest obedience classes and socialization as it seems that the critical periods in her life where she should have been exposed to new things was passed by. She came to us scared of her own shadow and scared of people and affection. She now loves the couch hanging out on her dog bed or just getting love and attention. She has opened up so much. She loved to play and is great with dogs that are similar build and temperament. She loves to have a good time. She does guard her food not from people just other dogs. She came to us weighing 48.6 lbs and now is a healthy 74 (give or take a little depending on the day). She will need to be fed structured meals as she will eat till she throws up and she also dig holes and cover her food. Which is common in dogs who have been emaciated. She also had a horrible habbit of eating feces when she first came to us. We do not know if it was due to the lack of food or lack of nutrition as it is common in dogs who are not being fed a complete diet. We have worked on this issue for months And are finally seeing progress. She does need to be watched with food around but not so bad that she cant be managed easily.Structure feeding constant small meals and reassurance makes a huge difference. She is worth the work to get to love her Nulipi is up to date on vaccines dewormed flea treated and microchipped. She came in with Giardia and coxidea and was treated for both this along with puppies poor food could have been part of her weight issue. She is finally up to weight and has been spayed. Thank goodness she will never have any more babies. We did notice some lumps on her teats when she was checked by the vet. We did have them removed. She will always have a saggy bottom due to having so many puppies. So she will need to be watched as lumps are normal in dogs who have been bred many times. The vet felt that she had been bred many times. We do not know for sure how many litters she has had. She deserves to be loved for who she is and not the babies she can produce. She is up to date dewormed flea treated and micro chipped. She is house broken crate trained does ok on leash and knows some basic commands. She was not when we got her and may need to be watched at first in a new home alot of things will be very new all over again for her She does great with people but can be fence defensive. So we suggest a home with kids over 10 so she doesn t knock them over. She does well with dogs as long as properly introduced. She is a great dog who just needs love. Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care vetting training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog a big dog or a male dog from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance.
