Eleanor is a sweet happy confident little lady. If anyone deserves a shot at a better life it s her. She came to us most recently after having been seen frightened and trembling under a tree for at least 4 days. Once we had her we realized she had gotten one leg through her collar which had been rubbing her skin raw. Her people apparently had no interest in caring for her any longer and never even came looking for her.Eleanor is a dynamic personality. She has generally been very quiet but can also be animated and bouncy. She likes to stand on her hind legs and beg for attention. How can anyone say no She is polite with food loves to sit in your lap for belly rubs and gives professional grade kisses. She is great with other dogs and is always an easy addition to playgroups. She may be a bit avoidant at first with rude or rowdy dogs but once she feels sure the other dog s intentions are good she will happily join in pouncing playfully and flirting generously.Despite having been treated with very little respect by humans in her previous life she is a happy girl and holds no grudges.
