Roxanne came to the Humane Society of Imperial County in late April with a grave injury to her hind end. She was brought in by a person who had seen her running as a stray for two months in Mexicali. Her injury was so old the vet was unsure how she survived as a stray for so long and wasted no time doing a double rear leg amputation. Roxanne has been in foster care since surgery and is like a new dog She received the wonderful gift of a wheelchair from Ruff Rollin a few weeks ago so she is ready for a forever home. Roxanne is potty trained to potty pads and she is working on learning to go potty outside. She is crate trained and knows the command kennel means to get in her crate. She is dog selective but coexists in a home with large and small dogs. Roxanne is incredibly loving and affectionate.
