We believe he is a Great Dane German Shepherd mix. TLR first learned of Flash when we saved two other dogs who had been caught by Animal Control in the same area in SC where he was living. Animal Control wasn t able to catch any of the others. Well that wasn t good enough for TLR so our fosters staked out the feral camp and were able to bring Flash to safety using a live trap. He came to us feral emaciated & full of parasites- fast forward several weeks later and the vet has him back on track he is doing very well emotionally & is gaining weight slowly but steadily. He is now crate trained and we are working on potty training. He is very smart though so we know he ll do well Considering his circumstances Flash came from it s amazing how he now seeks attention & love from his foster family. He approaches on his own time but is still hesitant should you approach him too quickly. He is going to need an adopter that has patience & experience with hesitant dogs. Please don t misinterpret there s not a mean bone in his body. We would like to see Flash go to a home with a fenced in yard and other canine playmates. He loves other dogs but does play a little rough once he gets used to them so also needs a dog that can handle puppy play and energy. Flash is being fostered in NC and can be transported to either MD or NJ for an approved adopter.
