Roma is good with people great with dogs of all sizes and gentle with young children. She is now in a foster home with many dogs and a 9 year old boy. Roma is a very smart girl and learns everything at a fast pace. She is very food motivated and makes training very easy. Roma knows sit command and is quite a master at it. She is gentle on the leash good in car rides and enjoys the doggie parks. Roma started some basic obedience training and is house-trained and crate-trained. She is rescued from horrible condition and will need continuous training to make sure she grows up to be a wonderful girl Roma s canine mom and dad were living as homeless dogs at a filthy building site that was going to be demolished. Roma s mom Regal gave birth to 7 beautiful pups. She took very good care of them and hid them well from people in the neighborhood that didn t like dogs and wanted to see them dead. A kind lady who lives nearby often walks her dog and heard them crying out of starvation. There were barely any food around Regal and the dad Royal had to travel in the middle of the night around the area to find garbage so they can feed the pups. The kind lady bought some food to feed them and they were starving and finished the food in a few seconds. The next day she went back to take some photos of the whole family and sent out many emails to different rescue groups hoping to help them. Weeks went by and no one was willing to help them as they are black dogs. The lady tried very hard and her vet referred her to Roma s now foster mom. The foster mom knew it was urgent to save them all. They worked together and spend the whole morning trying to lure them with food and were able to rescue the whole family. They were rushed to the vet for a complete checkup. Luckily they are all healthy. Roma has been vaccinated spayed de-wormed microchip and passed negative on her blood tests.
