Do you love dogs? -- Kennel worker, Bather/Brusher; Part-time

This is a part-time position for Monday Wednesday and Friday morning and every third Sunday. Occasionally you may need to cover for someone else including Saturdays. We may need for you to occasionally cover the person who works at closing time. We need someone who will clean clean clean the facility and perform the tasks necessary to keep us looking good pulling weeds and watering flowerbeds in the summer maybe painting some small areas etc. In addition to the facility poopy scooping the outside areas is required. We will teach you how to bath brush and do nail trims in the grooming area administer medications to puppies bathe puppies etc. If you can lift 40 pound bags of food and carry it up a flight of stairs you may be the person we need. You need to have a car and a driver s license as you may be asked to take a puppy to the vet take dogs home to their owners or do some other task which requires a car. The person we hire will be well groomed pleasant friendly and helpful to our customers (like helping senior citizens get their pets to and from their cars etc.) Sorry we do not allow body piercings that show other than earrings for women or facial tattoos. You don t have anyone breathing down your neck here -- we teach you the job and expect you to just do your job. It is critical that you can work on your own and show up when you are scheduled -- the dogs can t feed themselves.
