Buck - Male Labrador Retriever Mix

FOSTER HELP MEDICAL - This is Buck - he was posted on craigslist in Louisiana as a give away free - some rescue volunteers pulled this dog before he got into the wrong hands. He lived his entire short life of 9 months locked up in an outside pen - he was emaciated and thin ravaged with all kinds of parasites. He had limited muscle muscle mass because he had no room to run and play. When we first pulled him he would crawl on his belly because he had no strength in his legs. Everyday he gets better. In our care he is healing and building up those little muscles. Buck is very much still a puppy - he loves to rough house with the other dogs and even the cats in his foster home -but he gets a bit too rough with the little dog - he can hold his own with big dogs but must have monitored play while he is healing. His best therapy would be swimming We are looking for someone to help get him healthy.
