Formulate and execute the organisation s strategic initiatives and future goals within the GE industry. Showing a deep understanding of the GE industry is fundamental to this responsibility. Identify important capital projects joint ventures potential M& A targets and other strategic partnership opportunities within the Graphite Electrode industry. Oversee all global operations and business activities to ensure the implementation of the planned strategy and business can be delivered. Provide hands-on guidance and refinement to the various manufacturing plants systems and procedures and that same hands-on guidance and refinement to the organisation s business development in the global market. Build strong relationships with identified key business partners and stakeholders in the GE industry to ensure the organisation maintains its market leading position. Requirements The successful candidate must have Minimum 15 years management experience in Graphite Electrode (GE) industry An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills A master s degree in supply chain management Strong experience in shop-floor management of the GE manufacturing plants in China and Europe Proven long term experience in the acquisition and expansion of GE and needle coke businesses globally but with a particular focus on Chinese and European countries Proven strong relationships with US customers and key GE industry stakeholders Senior level experience in developing profitable strategies Native proficiency in both Mandarin and English Hands on experience in business integration of manufacturing plant and business operation particular to the manufacture of GE Deep familiarity with U.S and Chinese financial and capital management environments An in-depth knowledge of current corporate governance finance and operational management best practice of businesses with global presence Ability for frequent and prolonged travel.
