Laurie is a bright affectionate girl who loves being a family dog When she arrived at her foster home she was a little scared of people and didn t quite know how to walk on a leash or eat from a bowl. She figured it out quickly though It only took a day or two of watching her foster sister to pick up on the routine. She loves her walks knows to potty only outside and is enthusiastic and affectionate with her humans . She has learned to play with toys and has even learned to play fetch Her favorite thing though is to snuggle up to her people or foster sister for some affection. She can t wait to meet her forever family Laurie is a Female Maltese Mix that we estimate to be around 1 year old. PUPPIES Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved a meeting can be arranged. Also we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs however the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped.
