Gunners 3 week foster mom report I have to say this dog has impressed me so much in 3 short weeks. I got the impression in the beginning he did not have much socialization or exposure to anything. Didn t know how to go up and down stairs didn t know what a dog bed was didn t know how to play with toys didn t know how to walk on a leash very well afraid of loud noises and wasn t to sure about riding in the car. Over all I would say that he was scared. Never while in that state did he ever show of any signs of aggressiveness remained sweet and patient while learning new things. Gunner is non food aggressive you can put your hands in his food bowl and mouth while he is eating fish tiny pebbles out of his mouth without a care. He is not possessive of his toys and readily shares with his human and dog friends. He sleeps quietly in his large crate at night and is very content. He enjoys playing with one of his foster sisters she is very active and will initiate play with him. Gunner will require a slow introduction to new dogs typical of bully breeds and does not like to be challenged by strange dogs but is easily redirected and I m sure this will lessen with more exposure and after being neutered. He loves the water and enjoys his walks hikes and always wants to stay close to you. He does not seem to care about rabbits squirrels or other wild life while on his walks and shows no reaction to them. He is non reactive around screaming school kids and will walk quietly past all pedestrians young and old. He is not a happy jack when he meets someone new he remains calm and allows them to pet him. He is a good watch dog and keeps an eye on his home he will bark if he hears something unusual but over all he is very quiet. He loves to be with you lays in the kitchen while we cook and genuinely loves to be with his people dog family. He is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled.
