Job Title Process Technician- 2nd shiftJob Category TechnicalDepartment Group ManufacturingLevel Salary Range 14-17 hr.Position Type Full time Applications Accepted By Elwood Staffing Email grabriela.armenta(at)elwoodstaffing.com Job DescriptionRole and ResponsibilitiesThe process technician is responsible for conducting maintenance operation inspection and testing for manufacturing processes including but not limited to the MAX Filling Machine Mixing Room Mold Washing Laser Engraving Scrubbing Taping and Hard Coating to ensure that products comply with quality standards. Inspection includes lens substrates glass molds substrate plus glass mold assemblies packaging labels chemicals and more. Troubleshoot problems with equipment devices or products. Collect hazardous or non-hazardous waste in correctly labeled barrels or other containers and transfer them to collection areas. Fill subassemblies. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity. Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance for the Max machine. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. Assist engineers technicians and manager in developing building or testing prototypes or new products processes or procedures. Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production including scales for mixing room. Keep production and PM logs. Maintain inventory of job materials. Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School DiplomaMS Word and Excel proficiency write reports documents and generate charts.Mechanical Experience.Experience with measurement equipment Preferred SkillsMechanical aptitude.Manufacturing process experience Additional NotesWilling to work OT
