Conceived with the intent of bringing purpose and transformation to the lives of people with Alzheimer s and Dementia. This production is committed to helping address the reality of the ever-increasing number of families confronted with this terrible disease daily. This production is what we call edge of the seat entertainment wrapped in a soulful array of music and drama. This production will take you on an emotional journey that travels from high points of hardy laughter to tear jerking moments of introspection. We believe in showing you a creative approach to raising Alzheimer s awareness in support of those affected by this terminal disease within the African American communities throughout the country. We will give you a true and raw approach based with reality moments and see the emotional and disturbing affects this disease has on the African American community. I know first-hand how these circumstances can impact the psyche and spirit of family members and caregivers. This production will show you the mood changes abuse and abandonment of others.Through comedy music and dance we help to facilitate healing and transformation by a unique and powerful blending of entertainment and education. Our goal is to provide information and resource contacts to families and caregivers in a funny and loving way. Succeeding in bringing this production to fruition requires an innovative approach to organization and community development .We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to express learn and develop. Individuals representing all socio-economic backgrounds and diverse communities will have the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre and our high standards of professionalism.At the end of the day each of us must determine how we will play a role in helping to RESPECT individuals and communities afflicted with this disease.
