My name is Chris Music is my passion and my goal is to share what I ve learned. I want to make every student s lesson experience informative and fun From the very first lesson we lay out a set of short term and long term goals that are tailored specifically to each student s level needs and interests. With each student we will draw from different instructional materials books and written pieces but also we will tap our creative side and find tools to discover things on our own. Our lessons are very organized and I will help students make the best use of their practice time at home. Students will learn fundamentals good technique rhythm sense of time etc. We will also do some playing together and listening as well After earning my Master of Music in performance from Manhattan School of Music and my Master of Education in Music Education from Teachers College I have had wide scope of performing experiences and teaching experiences that I ve been a part of. At the end of the day nothing really gives me more gratitude than sharing my knowledge 1 on 1 getting back to fundamentals and helping others achieve their goals.I really love to share my knowledge of musical concepts and techniques that I have learned over the past 20 years with others to help them in their growth in music.
