There are 4 tubs of baseball items with 29 903 cards as I counted. I have them sorted by maker and year in an Exel worksheet and then packed in numerical order in marked boxes except the makers I only had a few cards for. I have those stored in plastic card sleeves and stored in 3 ring binders. Dates on the cards range from 1952 to 2004 though the majority are dated in the 1980 s and early 1990 s. There are cards sponsored by businesses like Pepsi Quaker Oats K-Mart Coke etc.There are some autographed ones and lots of rookie cards. There is a 1952 Topps 39 Dizzy Trout Detroit Tigers with the red back. There are team cards manager cards owner cards check list cards and cards to buy T-shirts or enter contests. There are glossy Tiffany and minis.There are a few complete sets sealed wax packs and unopened packages of cards and odd ball stuff like puzzle pieces that make a picture of players buttons and holograms. There is a jigsaw puzzle and a hand clapper. There is a cardboard replica of Cincinnati Field still sealed in the package. There are two 1998 Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazines still sealed in a package from Toys R Us. There is a little rubber baseball player that says Lasers 12 on the front and Jak Pax Inc 1988 on the back. There is a Cracker Jack All Star Baseball History Illustrations about Don Larsen called Larsen s Perfect Game.There are several books. One is the Official Pete Rose Scrapbook by Pete Rose. Others are Sports Illustrated Superstar Baseball The Great All-Time Baseball Record Book Baseball s Greatest Managers and Amazing But True Sports Stories The Ultimate Baseball Quiz Book and 1001 Baseball Questions Your Friends Can t Answer.There is a complete 1987 puzzle of Roberto Clemente a 1988 of Stan Musial with extra pieces and a 1989 of Warren Spahn as well as extra pieces. There are partial puzzles of Babe Ruth Micky Mantle Carl Yastrzemski Rod Carew an almost complete puzzle of Willie Stargell with only one piece missing but extra pieces of 2 more puzzles.There are 3 baseballs two of whom are signed. One baseball is a Franklin Collector Series still sealed in the original package. The second is a signed Rawlings Official League Baseball OLB3. The best I can tell it s signed by Pip or Pep Harris. In good shape though you can tell it s been hit a few times. The third baseball is apparently team signed and is in a display case. The names on the baseball that I can read are Marquis Grissom Joseph Carter Ozzie Smith Michael Huff Paul Molitor Jody Reed Joe Torres Jay Bell Jerry Pendleton the best I can make out. Others might be Wally Joyner Fred McGriff Dave Ramsey maybe Dave Dravecky and somebody Sally. I can t read the other names at all. There are 25 names in all that I can see. I think it might be an All Star Game signed baseball.There is a 1995 Classic Assets Gold - Printer s Proofs 13 - Ben Grieve. There is a 1992 Delphi Bradford Exchange 12 - Babe Ruth. There is a 1981 Donruss 94 - Carl Yastrzemski a 1981 Donruss 184 - Ken Griffey Sr. a 1981 Donruss 214 - Carl Yastrzemski and a 1972 Topps 37 Carl Yastrzemski.Some early Donruss rookie cards are 1981 282 Rusty Kuntz 1981 393 Bob Walk 1982 237 Von Hayes 1982 549 Tim Laudner 1982 562 Mike A. I can t list the other makers and years because there are too many cards.There is a 1984 Donruss 15 Lance Parrish Diamond Kings corrected autographed card an Adam Pettyjohn black autographed card from Donruss Select Rookies & amp Prospects and I think a couple more autographed ones.There are several error cards throughout the collection like the 1985 Donruss 374 Danny Jackson where the photo is actually Frank Wills ones with wrong birth dates wrong statistics wrong birth place typos in the info and there are several different version cards. The majority of the cards appear to be in excellent condition. They look new to me but I m not a collector so I don t know how to rate them.
