In accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and corporate requirements and under the oversight of the SOM the OM directs and supervises exercise staff to ensure that exercise performance meets or exceeds customer training objectives and corporate and contractual standards ensures accountability and protection of company property human resources and facilities enforces compliance with applicable security and safety procedures and regulations and minimizes risk through compliance with all applicable policies procedures and fiscal controls.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following list describes the general range of duties required on a day-to-day basis but does not reflect every duty that may be performed within this job Thoroughly understands contractual requirements and ensures delivery of services meets or exceeds quality standards. Capable of performing all duties and responsibilities as a Mission Manager. Is responsible for ensuring successful execution of all assigned training exercises including the conduct and proficiency of Mission Managers assistants support staff sub-contractors and role players and ensures all issues of safety personal misconduct accidents mishaps sub-standard performance base violations legal concerns and or training exercise concerns during mission execution and day-to-day activities are identified addressed and brought directly to the SOM or appropriate company management personnel as required. Is the first-line point of contact for regional customers receives Role Player Requests (RPRs) thoroughly understands all elements of each and interprets the RPR into TSS requirements for mission support actions in compliance with customer and contractual requirements. Prepares draft Exercise Status Reports (ESRs) in conformance with the RPR and company standards IAW support requests and MPC FPC defined outcomes provides staffing requirements to the Scheduling Manager including but not limited to Mission Managers and Assistant Mission Managers role player specifics including quantity gender ratios ethnicity and specific role requirements and weapons pyrotechnic and special effects staffing requirements. Schedules and coordinates exercise-specific logistical support including but not limited to vehicle rentals pickups and returns hotel reservations role player daily support items cultural meals and so forth. Confirms simultaneous supportability of concurrent mission requirements and coordinates for adjustments as required works directly with customers to determine and or verify exercise objectives offers suggestions and makes recommendations to optimize support facilitation. Ensures assigned management staff have the required knowledge experience and expertise to support Core and Core Plus Mission Essential Tasks (METS) (Offensive Defensive Amphibious Stability and Crisis Response operations ensures assigned Mission Managers are briefed on operational logistical and administrative requirements for successful exercise execution provides Mission Managers with accurate exercise-specific mission binders verbal briefs and direct supervision supervises Mission Managers exercise preparation activities including gear assembly badge scanning vehicle loading punctuality and so forth. Schedules and attends mid planning and final planning conferences (MPCs FPCs) documents modifications or changes and follows up appropriately with field and scheduling staff schedules and ensures submission of security rosters and manning rosters ensures compliance with administrative processes and procedures including the accurate and timely submissions of daily reports travel workbooks timesheets AARs EOM folders invoices for exercise expenses and other post-exercise documentation. Works with project accounting staff to gather documentation and invoices needed to submit accurate and timely invoices for services. Manages warehouse space and contents including the security acquisition inventory storage maintenance and replacement of costumes uniforms equipment and supplies maintains adequate amounts of water snacks and other food items and utensils needed for exercise support with the assistance of project accounting staff maintains merchant account ordering delivery billing and payment records ensures all company and on-site government and subcontractor equipment is maintained and is in good working order manages fuel accounts not specifically designated to individual employees and identifies requests authorization for and procures new or specialized equipment required to support training. Is the direct point of contact for Mission Managers encountering complications during exercise preparation and execution. Acts as the Safety Officer for all field activities ensures company vehicles used in area of responsibility are in safe and good working order with up-to-date maintenance records registrations tags and insurance ensures compliance with vehicle safety procedures delivery of daily safety briefs instruction of role players in safe use of blank-fire weapons instruction of field staff in proper safety procedures timely and accurate incident reporting and all other activities necessary to ensure the safe delivery of training support and the company goal of no incidents . Exercises sound judgment and management acumen in the delegation of authority as needed maintains responsibility and accountability for delegated tasks and conduct of operations. QUALIFICATIONS Required Education Experience and Skills (relevant experience may be substituted for any of the following)High school diploma or equivalent. Ten (10) years demonstrated U.S. Military experience three of which reflecting proficient Company Level experience as a Platoon Commander Platoon Sergeant Company Grade Officer or Company Gunnery Sergeant (US Marine Corps preferred). Ground Combat MOS experience with a proven understanding of Military Doctrine small unit Techniques Tactics and Procedures (TTPs) demonstrated combat administrative and logistical proficiency and previous demonstrated experience providing Training Support Services (TSS) (Former Combat Instructor and prior 0302 0369 CSOs preferred). Demonstrated ability to identify coordinate and facilitate training support requirements to support customer s training objectives. Proven experience working with and delivering TSS with multinational culturally diverse and multilingual role players. Must possess strong leadership team building and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to develop and present reports of training effectiveness and analysis performance metrics and routine reports. Five (5) years management experience in the provision of military training support. PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLSBachelor s degree or higher (business or management-related field a plus). KNOWLEDGE SKILL & ABILITIESStrong leadership abilities. Intimate understanding of military doctrinal publications as they relate to training and conduct of military operations. Understanding of base orders and directives as they relate to training aboard military installations. Able to understand adhere to and enforce corporate values policies procedures and standards. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good business writing and oral communication skills. Fluent in English (reading writing speaking and comprehension). Expert level knowledge of current versions of MS Office (Word Excel Outlook). A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision be well organized and flexible. Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties under operating deadline constraints. Physically fit and capable of passing background investigation and periodic drug test. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONSLegally eligible to work in the United States (proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment). Possess valid driver s license (any state) and be able to provide clean driving record and current vehicle insurance coverage. Eligible for access to military installations following background and security checks. Ability to travel to training locations as assigned.
