Position DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION This position consists of controlling and distribution of tooling and fixtures while monitoring inventory levels of consumable tooling.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Pull and kit tooling required for jobs which also includes the grinding of flats and relief grinding of tooling. Control tooling in need of regrind. Control and monitor all needed fixtures Ensure that all tooling kits are stored correctly and are easily accessible. Make daily rounds to ensure tooling kits are being returned. Monitor tool holders for distribution and replacement. Monitor usage of coolants oils. May create requisition list for tooling as needed. May operate fork lift Assist others as needed Perform daily housekeeping per 5S schedule. Perform other duties as required or directed by the Department Supervisor or Lead.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of warehouse inventory experience preferred Intermediate to advanced computer skills Fork truck driving experience preferred Intermediate math skills preferred SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED Good oral and written communication skills. Works well under pressure must be organized and able to attain results on several projects simultaneously. Have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess the ability to pay strict attention to detail. Possess good computer skills utilizing Microsoft tools. Be results-oriented and self-starter. Ability to use hand measuring toolsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to sit at a computer. Required to frequently to use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls Required occasionally to reach with hands and arms Must occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds (or up to 75 lbs. with assistance) Corrected vision of 20 20 preferred. Able to work in a fast-paced quality oriented environment. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined for the position.OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must submit to and pass background and substance abuse tests.
