The purpose of Medium Intensity Mixing is to primarily disperse all materials and create a homogenous mix on the final product. The generation of heat and energy is minimal and not a necessity for the material. If heat generation is needed it can be facilitated with the use of steam or hot median through the jacket of the vessel. The tip speed of the mixing tools will be between 6-8 rpm in Medium Intensity Mixers. Additional tooling such as choppers maybe needed to aid in removing clumps and agglomerations.Medium Intensity Mixing is needed in order to produce products such as Powder Coatings Masterbatch and Spices.
