Brooklyn Microgrid (a peer-to-peer energy marketplace for locally generated renewable energy) is seeking beta testers for a new app. Beta testers can be either Android or iPhone users. If selected into the program beta testers will be on the cutting-edge of a technology that allows consumers to break free of ConEd s monopoly on energy by choosing which renewable energy sources they want to buy as well as bidding on the price they are willing to pay. No experience in the tech or energy sectors is required.
