This truck was assigned to the Shift Commander s of three different Shifts at our City EMS Department. So it was driven every day since it was purchased new unless it was in for maintenance service. The Utility Box in the truck bed is equipped with a sliding tray shelf. This vehicle was on a regular maintenance schedule and maintained in-house by the City Fleet Department. There is pulley belt noise when the engine is idling.The rack and pinion steering seals are leaking. On this particular truck both the brake system and the power steering system are controlled by the pressure generated by the power steering pump. There is fluid loss in the power steering system thus compromising both systems. It is suspected that the hydro-boost failed.There are tears rips and stains on the upholstery and driver s door panel and handle (see photos). The body has bad lifting paint scratches dents graphics impressions (see photos). The rear passenger side tire is badly worn and has a slow leak. It is highly recommended that all potential Bidders Inspect this truck.This vehicle is being sold AS IS WHERE IS. The winner purchaser must make all arrangements to remove the vehicle without any assistance from City of Schertz.
